John’s discipleship class

Nathan has been a big help in John’s class.  We are teaching our Zambian friends in the class how to paint on the sketch board and illustrate the Gospel.  We have the opportunity to visit in the Out-Patient department of the hospital to preach the Good News.  Then after that, we can visit the wards sharing the Word with the patients.  Unfortunately today there was so much rain, that no sick people came to the Out-Patients.  Sometimes funerals also prevent people from coming.  Pray that Satan would not get his way in interrupting these outreaches.

Enoch is doing a great job at the paint board, considering the fact that none of our Zambian friends in the class have ever done any art work in their lives!  Pray that they will be able to use this tool in presenting the Gospel, and for God’s glory.

John had a great time together with Josh, Julie and Nathan, camping along the West Lunga River last August.  One of the few times he was able to get away from the duties at Kalene.

Nathan’s News

Nathan, our older son, is currently attending The Ezekiel Project School of Evangelism (known as TEPSE) in Michigan.  The students often visit college campuses and sometimes big cities to present the gospel and put into practice what they have learned.  Pray for Nathan as he studies and witnesses to individuals, and for discernment as to what the Lord would have him do when he has completed this course.

Welcome to the Loudons first ever attempt at a blog!  We arrived back in Zambia in June 2012, after a year of furlough in the USA.  The day after our arrival, Josh & Julie obeyed the Lord in baptism.  ImageImage.

Jeannie, our older daughter, was able to join us for a couple weeks at Kalene Mission and also attended Alumni Week at Rift Valley Academy in Kenya.  The photo below shows us exploring Castle Rock, one of our favorite sites on top of Kalene Hill where the first Kalene missionaries settled.
